We are Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to providing support, friendship and information, specifically tailored for families of premature or sick babies.

2023 TAX APPEAL
The unexpected financial cost of having a premature or sick baby takes a toll.
Sadly, 48,000 babies are born prematurely or sick every year in Australia. That’s A LOT of families who struggle with the emotional and financial pressure of this unexpected and life-changing journey.
LLTF does so much to help families with emotional, financial and practical support through one of the most challenging times in their lives. Yet, we are not government funded. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue delivering our services.
We are asking for your support. Help us raise $40,000 to ensure we can support more than 150 families in 2023-2024 with the unexpected costs of a prolonged hospital stay with our Family Assistance Program for families which includes a $250 card to cover the cost of groceries, petrol and parking.
Your donation will help relieve their financial pressure and support families with products and services designed to educate and empower them through this time.
$50 could pay for expensive parking and petrol to get parents to and from the hospital to visit their baby.
$75 could pay for groceries for a week while the parents are sitting cot side with their baby in NICU.
$100 could provide parents with a night’s accommodation in a hotel near the hospital.
This June, we ask for your help to support more parents like Amanda and Brett. You can do so by signing up for a monthly donation or giving a one-off gift this end-of-tax-year. To donate to our appeal, go to lltf-tax-appeal-2023.raisely.com

KIND WORDS FROM FAMILIES WE’VE HELPED
The support we received from life’s little treasures during our hospital stay was amazing, the app was a godsend, with this new foreign language in an easy to read form with meanings, section for notes, updates on weight feeding etc, I will never be able to thank life’s little treasures enough for their support
Amanda, mum
I wanted to pass on my congratulations on the special care nursery booklet. It’s fantastic and I have given out my first copy this evening to a young couple who have a premmie 3 days of age. It looks wonderful!!
