We are Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to providing support, friendship and information, specifically tailored for families of premature or sick babies.

Our Vision:

To ensure that all families enduring the difficult and life-changing experience of having a premature or sick baby have easy access to critical information and community support to help make a difference to them and their child.

Our Services:

COMING SOON! A support group just for Dads

At LLTF we have long recognised the need for Dads to get together with each other to share their stories and concerns about having a premature or sick baby within a supportive environment.

Our new NICU Connections group will give Dads an opportunity to connect with current Dads as well as those who have already been through it, to share advice, tips and experiences on coping in NICU and beyond. The group will be run through our private Facebook chat Group and you can log in from anywhere, whether it’s by your baby’s side in hospital, a local cafe or the comfort of your couch. Reaching out and connecting with other Dads like you has never been easier.

Head over to Facebook and look for Life’s Little Treasures NICU Connections for Dads to sign up, or sign up below. We’ll be kicking off end of September. See you there!

Join us for Walk for Prems 2021

Let’s walk together in support of premature and sick babies on Sunday 24th October.

48,000 premature or sick babies are born in Australia each year and with your help, Life’s Little Treasures Foundation can support these families along their journey.

Walk for Prems 2021 is proudly presented by Baby Bunting and is the largest annual fundraiser by Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to supporting the families of babies born sick or prior to 37 weeks gestation. It’s the ultimate example of families helping families. This community event has raised over 2.2 million dollars over 10 years. Let’s keep up this great effort this year, our 12th walk by ensuring we can keep supporting families in their time of need, whether that be support, services, products or information.

The Walk for Prems 2020 fundraising total was an incredible $372,380, which exceeded our goal of $350,000. We were absolutely thrilled and so grateful for the tremendous effort from our dedicated community and our passionate sponsors in a year that found us walking our own walks through our local neighbourhoods and virtually across the country.

We hope you can join us this year. Enjoy the fun and spirit of being part of this wonderful community event and ensure that premature and sick babies and their families will be able to access help and support when they need it.

The support we received from life’s little treasures during our hospital stay was amazing, the app was a godsend, with this new foreign language in an easy to read form with meanings, section for notes, updates on weight feeding etc, I will never be able to thank life’s little treasures enough for their support

Amanda, mum

I wanted to pass on my congratulations on the special care nursery booklet. It’s fantastic and I have given out my first copy this evening to a young couple who have a premmie 3 days of age. It looks wonderful!!

I’m so glad to have known the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation from the beginning and seen how you translated a very mixed (some would say awful) personal experience to a positive way of helping others in your position. You’ve made a huge difference to so many parents facing their worst nightmare
