We are Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to providing support, friendship and information, specifically tailored for families of premature or sick babies.
To ensure that all families enduring the difficult and life-changing experience of having a premature or sick baby have easy access to critical information and community support to help make a difference to them and their child.
Education and information for parents are crucial to getting the best possible outcomes for premature and sick babies; it empowers families and enables them to become their child’s advocate. We support families in hospital (Neonatal Intensive Care and Special Care Units) and in the community when families come home.
The Life’s Little Treasures Foundation is built around #familieshelpingfamilies. Our community are supportive, passionate and generous and is made up of families, friends, health professionals and supporters who all understand and care because they have been there too.
‘You can in Jan’ Volunteer Drive
What better way to start off the new year than by doing something good for yourself by doing something good for others! 🙏🧡
Parents, have you had a premature or sick baby? Would you like to help others through this difficult journey? As part of our ‘You Can in Jan’ volunteer recruitment drive, we’re seeking passionate, motivated parents who draw on their lived experience to provide support, encouragement and a listening ear to parents who have a baby in the hospital. We are looking to grow our team of parent volunteers for our online NICU Connections Peer Support Group, especially in need of dad volunteers for our new group just for dads.

COMING SOON! A support group just for Dads
At LLTF we have long recognised the need for Dads to get together with each other to share their stories and concerns about having a premature or sick baby within a supportive environment.
Our new NICU Connections group will give Dads an opportunity to connect with current Dads as well as those who have already been through it, to share advice, tips and experiences on coping in NICU and beyond. The group will be run through our private Facebook chat Group and you can log in from anywhere, whether it’s by your baby’s side in hospital, a local cafe or the comfort of your couch. Reaching out and connecting with other Dads like you has never been easier.
Head over to Facebook and look for Life’s Little Treasures NICU Connections for Dads to sign up, or sign up below.
WALK FOR PREMS 2021
On our way to making this walk our biggest success yet!
Thank you, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and those who walked virtually across Australia, as well as those who joined us from some far-away places, including the UK and Ireland. With your amazing efforts, we’ll be able to help more families with premature and sick babies in 2022.
Baby Bunting has been Presenting Partner of the Walk for Prems for six years. This year their amazing team raised over $300,000 thanks to the generosity of their team members, customers, and suppliers. This has been their biggest fundraising total yet and is a testament to their hard work, passion, and dedication to the cause. We also thank our 2021 Walk for Prems Major Sponsors Steelcraft and Haakaa, Sponsor Medela and Friends Oricom, Earlybirds and Web Intelligenz.
From everyone at Life’s Little Treasures and on behalf of all the families in our community, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

KIND WORDS FROM FAMILIES WE’VE HELPED
The support we received from life’s little treasures during our hospital stay was amazing, the app was a godsend, with this new foreign language in an easy to read form with meanings, section for notes, updates on weight feeding etc, I will never be able to thank life’s little treasures enough for their support
I wanted to pass on my congratulations on the special care nursery booklet. It’s fantastic and I have given out my first copy this evening to a young couple who have a premmie 3 days of age. It looks wonderful!!
I’m so glad to have known the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation from the beginning and seen how you translated a very mixed (some would say awful) personal experience to a positive way of helping others in your position. You’ve made a huge difference to so many parents facing their worst nightmare
