For Health Professionals
Having a baby in a neonatal unit is an overwhelming and emotional experience for families. As a Health Professional, there is so much you can do to help families.

When a baby is born premature or sick, parents are faced with the reality of leaving their baby in the hospital each night.
They are left to manage daily hospital visits, deal with stress and anxiety around their baby’s health and juggle the ongoing challenges of their day-to-day lives.
Health professionals can help reduce the stress and trauma families face by providing the right support in the hospital environment and through health services when they finally take their baby home.
