Anthony’s Fundraising Story

In June 2013, Anthony Spadaro became the father of triplets who were born at 27 weeks. Anthony is studying for a Bachelor of Sport Science degree and when he was given an assignment to organise a sporting event for charity, he jumped at the chance to do something for Life’s Little Treasures Foundation. Anthony organised a run/walk of the Lyrebird Track, a very steep 5km trail from One Tree Hill in the Dandenong Ranges. Around 30 people took part and together they raised over $2,400 – we know there were some very sore legs but we are extremely grateful for all their hard work!

Anthony’s story also inspired fellow classmate Stacey Dolliver to organise a fundraising fitness class. The participants at Freedom Health & Wellness in Hobart raised $255 – thank you!
