“Be the change that you want to see in the world” ~ Mahatma Gandhi
Volunteers make up the heart of the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation. Dedicated to providing support, friendship information and assistance to families of children born sick or premature. The Foundation is run by people who themselves have had a premature baby and so truly understand the challenges that these babies and their families face.
It is through the dedication of our volunteer network that LLTF can consistently remain able to provide these services to families in the hospital (neonatal and special care units) and in the community when families come home.
The Foundation is very grateful to have such a dedicated and amazing team of people who all come from many different walks of life but who all share a common goal and wish to give back to the community. There are many ways in which Volunteers can assist LLTF such as:
- LLTF Newsletter Production
- Assisting with Marketing and PR
- Social Events
- Packing Days
- Parent Support Network
- Support Groups
- Fundraising Events
- Website Maintenance
If you are interested in assisting LLTF in any capacity then we would love to hear from you, certain roles do require a Working with Children Check. Please click the ‘Apply Now’ button below to submit your application.

Packing Days for the “Parent Hospital Resource Folder”
The Life’s Little Treasures Foundation Parent Hospital Resource Folder is a vital resource for any family.
This resource guide is comprehensive, containing critical information that is designed to assist families in the first steps of their journey through NICU & Special Care. It covers areas families can expect to experience during their journey through a hospital.
We require volunteers to assist in getting these folders ready for dispatch to hospitals around Australia.
Every month, for one day, we have a packing day at the head office, where volunteers
- Collate the folders
- Pack the folders ready for dispatch
