Neonatal Nurse Excellence Awards

Call for Applications

Applications close March 31st.

Once again it is time for the dedication and work of neonatal nurses to be acknowledged via the annual

ACNN Neonatal Nurse Excellence Award.

This award initiative has become an integral part of the ACNN calendar, culminating in the recognition of recipients at the National conference. This award recognises neonatal nurses for their excellence in practice and for the significant contribution that they make to their profession, their clinical teams and the families in their care through their practice, leadership and research endeavours.

Family Appreciation Award:
In 2017 in addition to the Excellence in Neonatal Nursing award, ACNN will introduce the Family Appreciation Award. This latter award is open to families to nominate a neonatal nurse.

Excellence in Neonatal Nursing Award:
Neonatal nurses may nominate their peers who are working in any area of neonatal nursing (e.g. public, private, management, education, clinical area and the tertiary sector) who exemplifies the ACNN National Standards for Neonatal Nurses.
